Students, staff and parents were notified of an arrest made at the Sparrows Point Middle and High Schools building today. After staff were made aware of the suspected weapon possession, the schools’ Resource Officers conducted a search on the student and found a loaded handgun.
The student was subsequently arrested. No further information has been provided by Baltimore County Public Schools officials at press time.
